Why we love it
Few trees can match 'Kanzan' for sheer flower power. In mid-spring its branches are smothered in rich pink, pom-pom blossom.
As a multi-stem it forms a broad, vase-shaped tree with a generous spring display.
How to use it
Plant as a statement spring tree in a larger garden, on a lawn or along a drive.
Planting and aftercare
Plant between autumn and spring and water well through the first two summers. Prune cherries only in summer, in dry weather, to reduce the risk of disease; very little pruning is usually needed.
