Why we love it
The Pacific dogwood has some of the largest flower bracts of any dogwood, creamy white and held like saucers along the branches.
It often flowers again in autumn as the leaves colour, giving a wonderful double show.
How to use it
Plant it as a specimen in a sheltered garden or at a woodland edge, where its flowers can be seen against a dark background.
Planting and aftercare
Plant between autumn and spring into rich, well-drained soil, mulch well and water through the first two summers.
