Why we love it
'Susan' flowers a little later than many magnolias, so its rich purple blooms often escape frost.
It stays compact, making it perfect for small gardens.
How to use it
A charming feature for small gardens, courtyards and borders.
Planting and aftercare
Plant between autumn and spring in a sheltered spot and water well through the first two summers. Magnolias need little pruning; if needed, prune lightly in summer.
