Why we love it
'Accolade' flowers early and generously, with hanging clusters of soft pink blossom that cover the bare branches.
Its open, spreading canopy is graceful as a multi-stem, and the leaves colour well in autumn.
How to use it
A lovely feature tree for medium-sized gardens, or near a terrace where its blossom can be enjoyed.
Planting and aftercare
Plant between autumn and spring and water well through the first two summers. Prune cherries only in summer, in dry weather, to reduce the risk of disease; very little pruning is usually needed.
