Why we love it
The lacebark pine is prized for its bark, which peels to reveal a patchwork of colours.
It is slow-growing, so it stays in scale for many years.
How to use it
A collector’s tree for courtyards, gravel gardens and feature planting where the bark can be seen up close.
Planting and aftercare
Plant between autumn and spring into free-draining soil and water through the first two summers. Very little pruning is needed.
