Why we love it
In spring, Malus 'Evereste' is smothered in blossom, and pollinators flock to it. It is also an excellent pollination partner for nearby apple trees.
The small fruits colour orange and red in autumn and often hang on the branches well into winter, feeding birds and lighting up the garden.
How to use it
A brilliant choice for small and medium gardens, kitchen gardens and wildlife-friendly planting. As a multi-stem, it makes a charming, informal feature tree.
Planting and aftercare
Plant between autumn and spring and water well through the first two summers. Prune lightly in winter to remove crossing or crowded stems.
