Why we love it
The tulip tree has one of the most distinctive leaf shapes of any tree, and mature trees bear beautiful tulip-like flowers.
It turns a clear, glowing yellow in autumn.
How to use it
Give it space as a specimen in larger gardens, parks and estates.
Planting and aftercare
Plant between autumn and spring, stake securely and water well through the first two summers. Prune in winter while dormant to remove crossing or damaged branches and keep a balanced crown.
