Pleached Trees
Instant screening above the fence line
Privacy, structure and elegance
Pleached trees are trained with a clear stem and a flat, rectangular frame of branches, creating a raised hedge on stilts. They are one of the best ways to add privacy above a fence or wall, screen overlooking windows and create strong architectural lines, while keeping space at ground level for planting.
We supply deciduous and evergreen pleached trees in a range of stem heights and frame sizes, root-balled in season or container-grown all year. Tell us your heights and lengths and we will quote.
Popular pleached trees
Hornbeam, Carpinus betulus
Lime, Tilia cordata 'Greenspire'
Beech, Fagus sylvatica
