Parasol Trees
Instant, architectural shade. Parasol trees, also known as roof-trained or umbrella trees, have a clear stem and a wide, flat canopy trained on a frame. They create a living roof over a terrace, dining area or seating spot, and can be kept to size with annual pruning, so they suit city courtyards as well as country gardens.
