Chanel Rose Garden, Royal Ascot

A quintessentially English garden for Chanel at Royal Ascot 2025

Around 500 roses and 1,000 summer-flowering perennials, all contract grown by Form, created a quintessentially English garden for Chanel’s private hospitality area at Royal Ascot.

Designed by Cargill Sykes, the studio of Duncan Cargill and Tom Sykes, and project managed by Inca Productions, the garden combined generous drifts of roses and perennials in soft whites, pinks and purples with instant mature pleached hornbeam for structure from day one.

Form contract grew every plant to its peak for race week, then supplied and installed the full scheme.

The project

For Royal Ascot 2025, Chanel’s private hospitality area at Ascot Racecourse was given a quintessentially English garden: generous drifts of roses and summer-flowering perennials, framed by instant mature pleached hornbeam.

The garden was designed by Cargill Sykes, the studio of Duncan Cargill and Tom Sykes, and project managed by Inca Productions, the same team Form worked with on the Gucci Cruise 2025 show at Tate Modern.

What Form did

Form contract grew every plant for the garden, bringing around 500 roses and 1,000 herbaceous perennials to their peak for race week. We then supplied and installed the full scheme, including the mature pleached hornbeam that gave the garden its structure from day one.

The planting

A romantic, layered mix of roses and summer-flowering perennials in soft whites, pinks and purples, set between and beneath instant mature pleached hornbeam (Carpinus betulus). Terracotta pots of white hydrangeas and a planted timber trellis carried the garden into the marquee.
