Why we love it
In flower it is one of the most remarkable sights in any garden.
Young plants take some years to flower.
How to use it
Give it space and shelter as a specimen.
Planting and aftercare
Plant between autumn and spring, water well through the first two summers and mulch each year. Little pruning is needed; tidy in late winter or after flowering.
